Quantitative Research & AI Solutions Consultant
London | AI Studio | Full-time | Hybrid (3 days in-office)
What if your quant research role didn't just inform a client's strategy — it also shaped the AI tools used to deliver it?
Our client, a respected, employee-owned advisory firm working with clients at the frontier of technology, is looking for a quantitative researcher to join a growing team at the intersection of research and AI. This is a research role first: designing studies, analysing data and turning findings into strategic advice for high-profile clients. What sets it apart is the chance to use — and help build — AI tools that make that research sharper and faster than a traditional research role would allow.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how a respected advisory firm uses AI in practice, without stepping away from the research work itself.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver quantitative research — surveys and analysis that shape client strategy — for clients at the frontier of technology and beyond
- Turn research findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior client stakeholders
- Use AI tools to speed up and sharpen analysis, and build on that experience to contribute to the team's internal AI products (including podcast and newsletter tools)
- Review and sense-check AI-generated ("vibe-coded") outputs with a critical, analytical eye
- Flex into wider comms, policy or research work as needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

- Mapping the media conversation around a tech client's highest-priority issue
- Helping an investor understand its positioning in the market
What we're looking for
- Strong quantitative research experience — comfortable with survey design, data analysis and turning findings into strategic recommendations
- A decent working understanding of communications and policy, so you can operate credibly with clients and colleagues
- Comfortable writing code and reviewing others' code (R, SPSS or Python backgrounds all welcome) — not a software engineer, but genuine coding literacy is expected
- Corporate research agency experience is a plus but not essential — we're equally open to backgrounds in management consulting or in-house corporate insight teams
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools, and the judgement to use them critically rather than blindly
