Quantitative Trader Digital Assets | High-Frequency Trading (Dubai)
We are working closely with a leading proprietary trading firm specialising in high-frequency market making across digital asset markets. Founded by professionals from some of the world's top electronic trading firms, the team includes talent from elite prop desks, global technology companies and systematic trading operations. Based in Dubai with a growing team, the firm is scaling aggressively and looking for exceptional quant talent to join their operation.
The Role
As Quantitative Trader, you will own live strategy P&L in a high-frequency crypto market-making environment. This is a hands-on trading role for someone with deep market microstructure intuition, a systematic mindset and a proven track record in fast-moving electronic markets. You will work closely with quant researchers and developers to deploy, monitor and continuously improve live strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Run live quantitative trading strategies with direct P&L ownership
- Monitor and optimise strategy performance in real time across digital asset markets
- Collaborate with QRs and QDs on strategy development, deployment and iteration
- Identify and exploit short-horizon inefficiencies in crypto markets
- Manage execution risk, inventory, position limits and intraday risk controls
- Contribute quantitative intuition to the broader research and development process
Requirements
- Proven background at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm or market maker — non-negotiable
- Demonstrable track record of P&L ownership in live electronic or systematic trading
- Deep understanding of market microstructure and HFT execution dynamics
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills — ability to think in probabilities and edge
- Crypto trading experience is a strong advantage
- Must be based in Dubai or fully committed to relocating — no exceptions
