Quant Trader (Team Lead) – HFT Options, Futures & Equities

Location: Geneva, London, or Amsterdam

Venture Search is partnering with a fast-growing, exceptionally well-funded proprietary trading firm to hire Quant Trader (Team Leads) across HFT options, futures, and equities.

Our client is an ambitious next-generation trading firm founded by senior leaders from some of the world's most respected proprietary trading firms and quantitative investment platforms. Combining elite talent, institutional backing, and a cutting-edge technology stack, they are building a world-class systematic trading business across multiple asset classes.

The Role

As a Quant Trader (Team Lead), you will:

  • Deploy and scale fully systematic HFT strategies across options, futures, and/or equities
  • Take full ownership of live trading performance, capital deployment, and risk management
  • Lead the build-out of your trading vertical, helping define its long-term strategy and direction
  • Work alongside dedicated quantitative developers and engineers to optimise and scale your trading platform
  • Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team as your business expands
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on the continued evolution of the firm's systematic trading platform

Requirements

  • Proven experience running fully systematic HFT strategies within a leading proprietary trading firm, market maker, or quantitative hedge fund
  • Strong track record of generating scalable, risk-adjusted returns
  • Deep understanding of market microstructure and low-latency electronic trading
  • Experience across options, futures, and/or equities markets
  • Strong quantitative and technical capabilities, with programming experience preferred
  • Leadership experience, or the ambition and ability to build and lead a successful trading team
