Quantity Surveyor
Quantum Surveyor – Major Projects (Site-Based)
Quantum Surveyor (Major Projects) VolkerLaser, a leading provider of structural solutions for concrete and steel repairs across the UK, seeks a passionate Quantum Surveyor to join its Major Projects division in Scotland, covering Central Belt projects. This site-based role demands business-savvy oversight of contracts up to completion.

Specialising in bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete/cathodic steel repair, carbon fibre strengthening, and jacking works, VolkerLaser PN1 bridges, highways, and infrastructure. Embedded under VolkerWessels UK, we drive innovative civil engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Major Projects team, you’ll:
- Work site-based within the Central Belt, driving contract processes from procurement to final accounts.
- Report to the Commercial Manager, ensuring cost and value are optimised throughout projects.
- Monitor financial impact on construction delivery, while liaising with client teams, subcontractors, and design teams.

Who You Are
- Proven Assistant Quantum Surveyor/Quantum Surveyor with experience in Civil Engineering or Highways.
- Thorough knowledge of NEC (New Engineering Contract) forms of contract.
- Chartered by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) through a relevant degree in Quantum Surveying or Commercial Management.
