We are working with a growing and well-established construction business delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK. With a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative commercial team, they are looking to appoint an experienced Pre Con Quantity Surveyor to support the successful commercial delivery of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will provide full surveying support across multiple live projects, managing subcontractor accounts, client applications, project reporting and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and commercially successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue Applications for Payment to clients
- Attend monthly commercial and project review meetings
- Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
- Raise subcontract orders and issue variations
- Update and maintain commercial reporting documentation
- Monitor project costs and commercial performance
- Support project teams with financial and contractual matters
- Prepare Re-measure Reports And Other Commercial Reports As Required
- Attend site visits regularly to monitor progress and subcontractor performance
- Recover project retentions and settle final accounts promptly

Experience & Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
- 3-5 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying role
- Good understanding of commercial processes within construction
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
