I'm currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Permanent Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor specialising in new build, fit out and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors. With a strong secured pipeline of work, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an ambitious and commercially aware Quantity Surveyor.
The Role:
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
- Cost reporting, valuations, variations and forecasting.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Building and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Experience delivering new build, fit out or refurbishment projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
