Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Temporary to permanent position
Our client is a growing and highly respected building services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and building long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit and supportive commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for either:
- An ambitious Quantity Surveyor with solid industry experience looking to take the next step in their career
- A Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a fresh challenge within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment
- A Commercial Manager looking for a role that offers variety, autonomy and genuine career progression

Whilst experience within Mechanical and Electrical contracting would be advantageous, it is by no means essential. The client is primarily seeking a commercially astute, proactive and hardworking professional who can operate independently, add value to the team, and build strong relationships across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of projects from inception through to final account
- Cost planning, forecasting and budget management
- Contract administration and commercial reporting
- Managing subcontractor accounts and valuations
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial success
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships

What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager
- Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
- Ability to manage workloads independently and take ownership of projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude and strong work ethic
- Mechanical and Electrical sector experience beneficial but not essential
