Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bristol
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with experience in the construction industry, particularly within commercial fit-out projects, who is looking to develop their career while working on high-quality projects across a range of sectors.
You will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance is maximised while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of commercial fit-out projects.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, valuations, and final accounts.
- Procure subcontractors and manage tender processes.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements.
- Monitor project costs, identify risks, and report on financial performance.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
- Manage variations, change control, and payment applications.
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects remain on budget.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
About You
- 3-6 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
- Excellent cost management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with commercial management software is advantageous.
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
