Role Overview
Are you an experienced contractor-side Quantity Surveyor looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a growing and ambitious business?
Resolution Interiors is seeking a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with a background in SME construction, fit-out, shopfitting or specialist subcontracting environments. This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys working closely with project delivery teams and taking ownership of commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Please note: this position requires practical contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience. Candidates whose experience is solely within professional services, consultancy, cost management practice or PQS environments are unlikely to have the project delivery experience required for this role.
Working across a diverse portfolio of construction and interior fit-out projects, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from award through to final account. You'll be responsible for controlling costs, managing valuations and variations, procuring and managing subcontractor packages, producing accurate commercial reporting, and supporting project teams to deliver profitable project outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
