This is an opportunity to take a senior leadership role, managing diverse projects across strategic infrastructure, residential, and commercial construction. The role offers genuine career progression, with a pathway to Directorship for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership – Oversee and manage commercial and cost strategy across multiple projects. Pre & Post-Contract Services – Lead cost estimating, BOQ production, valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts. Client & Stakeholder Management – Act as the principal commercial point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and developing new business opportunities. Procurement & Contract Management – Oversee tender processes, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration under NEC & JCT contracts. Change & Risk Management – Assess and manage variations, claims, and risk-mitigation strategies. Team Development & Leadership – Mentor and support junior surveyors and project managers. Business Growth & Development – Play a key role in expanding client relationships and securing future projects.

What We’re Looking For
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or related field. MRICS qualification preferred (support available for candidates working towards RICS chartership). Proven experience in consultancy or client-side QS roles. Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts. Ability to manage multiple projects and drive commercial success. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
