Mid Cornwall | Permanent | Full-Time
£65,000-£70,000 + Competitive Package
Sphere Solutions are working in partnership with a successful market leading regional contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery
- Administer contracts, with a strong focus on NEC forms of contract
- Prepare cost plans, budgets and financial forecasts
- Procure subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating the best commercial outcomes
- Prepare subcontract documentation & subcontractor accounts
- Monitor project costs, cash flow and financial performance
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare accurate monthly cost and value reports

About You
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts
- Experience delivering refurbishment and/or new build construction projects
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
