About the Job
Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing division of a UK leader in their field? We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Junior Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor who is keen to work on a diverse range of commercial projects across the UK. You will be joining our Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) division and will play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of MEP installations. Working alongside experienced operational and commercial teams, you will gain exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying while receiving the support and guidance needed to develop your career.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the commercial management of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, cost plans, and commercial reports.
- Assist with the procurement and management of specialist MEP subcontractors and suppliers, including tender analysis and contract administration.
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives, helping to deliver commercially viable and efficient MEP solutions.
- Prepare applications for payment, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Qualifications
- A degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline.
- Experience as an Assistant, Junior, or Project Quantity Surveyor within construction, MEP, or building services, or be a recent graduate with relevant industry placement experience.
Required Skills
- A good understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and commercial processes.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive internal and external working relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A full UK driving licence.
