Quantity Surveyor

We are currently representing a highly respected and rapidly growing fit-out contractor, known for delivering premium fast-track interior projects across the hospitality and leisure sectors.

With an established reputation for quality, speed, and repeat business, our client works with some of the most recognised brands in the market, delivering high-specification hotels, restaurants, bars, and commercial spaces across London.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor with ambitious growth plans and a strong presence in the London fit-out market.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple fast-paced fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project costs from inception to completion
  • Preparing and reviewing tender packages
  • Breaking down bills of quantities into trade packages
  • Procuring subcontractors and negotiating terms
  • Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting
  • Producing CVRs and financial reports
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
  • Supporting project delivery teams to ensure budgets and margins are maintained
  • Attending client and site meetings where required
  • Final account negotiation and close-out

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
