About Us

At T-SQUARED we Make Space for Genius.
We design, build, validate and maintain highly specialised facilities for scientists and innovators who do incredible things.

T-SQUARED is employee-owned and independent, and some of the smartest people in the world trust us to deliver the complex, regulated facilities they need on budget, on spec, and on time.
Their work changes the world, and we make it possible. Are you up for the challenge?

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Cost Manager/QS to join our team in Glasgow, reporting to the Commercial Manager and working as part of a high-performing team.

This role supports the commercial management and delivery of technically demanding facilities where precision, compliance, and cost-control are key.

You will be responsible for both pre-construction and construction stage commercial duties, including cost planning, estimating, tendering, negotiated works, contract administration and financial reporting.

You will need to be calm, organised, non-adversarial and able to work under pressure while achieving deadlines, protecting the company’s interests and supporting the achievement of business objectives.
Mechanical and electrical experience is beneficial as this accounts for a large proportion of project cost and value.

What You’ll Be Doing

Pre-construction role

  • Develop cost plans, detailed estimates, and commercial reports
  • Support procurement strategy, tender evaluations, negotiated works and contractor negotiations
  • Review and understand Contracts and make comment on onerous terms and conditions to protect the business.
  • Analyse and assess design changes, providing cost advice, costing changes and supporting change control

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
