Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor to join our thriving North West branch based in Warrington and covering the entire region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Measurement, evaluation and pricing of tenders.
- Management of the commercial aspects of projects from contract award through to final account.
- CVR reporting and forecasting - ensuring CVRs are updated and reviewed on a weekly basis with the Operations teams.
- Supply chain procurement - ensuring best value supply is sourced on all contracts.
- Management and administration of subcontract accounts.
- Production and submission of applications for payments and invoices.
- Measurement, pricing and valuation of post contract variations to maximise profitability.
- Cash collection - ensuring prompt payment of all invoices.
- Timely agreement of final accounts.
- Reporting of monthly accounts in line with forecasts.

Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Previous experience of painting projects is essential.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- A minimum of three years' surveying experience (essential).
- Experience in commercial management.
- Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and forecasting.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work independently on own initiative.
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to encourage and support other members of the commercial team.
- Strong links with operational staff and delivery of projects from a resource perspective.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Driving licence is essential.

£40,000 - £55,000 per year dependent on experience
