Job Title: Contract Quantity Surveyor (Tier 1 Main Contractor)

Location: White City, London

Contract Length: 3:9 months (with potential for extension)

Start Date: Immediate

Rate: Competitive (Dependent on experience)

About The Opportunity

Looking to get your foot in the door with a massive, globally recognized Tier 1 Main Contractor? This is your chance. We are seeking a sharp, detail:oriented Contract Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start at our major project site in White City, London.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to add a prestigious Tier 1 name to your resume. We value consistency, so if you have a track record of good, solid stints on your CV, we want to hear from you.

The Role and Day:to:Day

You will be stepping in to handle core commercial responsibilities, ensuring the smooth administrative and financial running of key project packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Administration: Manage variations, valuations, cost reporting, and necessary documentation with absolute precision.
  • Subcontractor Management: Act as the main point of contact for subbies, assessing progress on:site and certifying payments.
  • Day:to:Day QS Duties: Support the Senior Commercial team with daily ad:hoc tasks, cost control, and financial forecasting.

What We Are Looking For

  • An Eye for Detail: You spot the discrepancies others miss. Accuracy in data, contracts, and measurements is your priority.
  • Proven Track Record: A CV demonstrating reliable, successful stints in previous QS roles (freelance or permanent).
  • Experience: Prior experience working with a main contractor (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred) handling package management and commercial admin.
  • Availability: Ready to hit the ground running with an immediate start.
  • Location: Ability to commute daily to White City, London.
