Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering - Kent - Up to £65,000 + Benefits Package & Bonus
Looking for a Quantity Surveyor role with real scale, variety, and long-term opportunity?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a large, established civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure and groundworks projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a commercially sharp Quantity Surveyor.
The Role
- Managing costs across civil engineering projects from procurement to the final account
- Preparing valuations, applications, variations, cost reports, and forecasts
- Supporting tendering, subcontract procurement, and contract administration
- Working closely with site teams to track progress, risk, and commercial performance
- Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably

Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure, groundworks, highways, utilities, drainage, or related sectors
- Strong commercial awareness and solid contract knowledge
- Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects or packages
- Relevant QS, commercial, or construction qualification preferred
