Quantity Surveyor
ParkCity Multitrade are a well-established construction company located in the heart of North Wales, with offices based in St Asaph and Wrexham. We work on varied and exciting construction projects across a range of sectors including Social Housing, Care and Education. Since our establishment over 10 years ago, we have experienced continued growth and are now diversifying into new areas. Due to this growth, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will bring a wealth of experience in their field to join our team.
Our team is passionate and dynamic, and our current projects involve working closely with Wrexham, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy and Anglesey Councils as well as approved contractors for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, North Wales Police and Adra.

The Role – Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to the Director as a Quantity Surveyor your duties will include, although not be limited to:

- Managing the costs of projects during the construction stage and final accounts
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bill of quantities
- Preparing and submitting client valuations and invoices including all supporting information for claims and variations
- Taking responsibility for sub-contractor procurement, orders, valuations, and final accounts
- Attending site visits and prestart meetings across North Wales
- Actively participating in internal meetings and communicating relevant project information (including providing cash flow forecasts and valuation reports to Directors)
- Identifying variations, ensuring relevant variation orders are received and valued, in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
- Working closely with the Contracts Manager to identify and assess any time delays on contracts
- Preparing, submitting and agreeing main contract final account after completion of the works
- Ensuring making good defects and final certificate is received by the company on completion of outstanding defects
- Supporting and leading our Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our Requirements - Quantity Surveyor
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent in a related discipline
- Conversant with both JCT and NEC Contracts
- Ability to plan, manage and prioritise own workload to successfully meet deadlines
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great organisation skills with good attention to detail
The Package
- Starting salary from £50,000, dependent on experience
- Company vehicle provided and fuel card
- Permanent contract, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
You’ll be based from our office in St Asaph on St Asaph Business Park.
