Location: Cwmbran
Salary: Up to GBP75,000
Our client delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across major UK transport hubs, national rail infrastructure, specialist architectural builds, and international developments.
With a strong pipeline of work and continued business growth, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team, supporting the commercial management of projects and ensuring cost:effective delivery across complex steel construction works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tenders
- Measure and quantify materials, labour, and resources from drawings
- Manage procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Monitor project costs and produce financial reports
- Handle variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with contracts and commercial terms
- Liaise with project teams to support efficient delivery

Experience
- Knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
- Experience in steel or structural construction (preferred)
- Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to read technical drawings
