Senior Quantity Surveyor

Somerset, UK

Hybrid Working Available | Staff Salary + Company Benefits

ENG Bauen is partnering with a leading international engineering and construction organisation that continues to expand its presence across the UK energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors. With significant long-term growth plans and a strong pipeline of secured work, the business is investing heavily in its commercial teams to support major project delivery across the country.

As part of this growth, we are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join the commercial function supporting works at Hinkley Point C, one of Europe's largest and most complex construction projects. This is an opportunity to become part of a well-established engineering contractor delivering critical construction and installation packages within a highly regulated environment. Working across the full commercial lifecycle, you will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, change control and subcontractor management, ensuring successful commercial outcomes on a landmark UK project.

This permanent position offers long-term career progression, exposure to major infrastructure delivery and the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements within a business that continues to secure and invest in large-scale energy projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
