United Infrastructure is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Water team based in Wakefield.
As part of a dynamic, fast-growing division, you will be at the heart of nationally significant infrastructure projects that will shape the UK’s future.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial responsibilities and contributing towards its success across the full lifecycle of each project — from contract negotiation to cost reporting. You will be:
Contract management in line with NEC 4 (Options A, B, C & E) Subcontractor negotiations, and contract management. Application for payments both Client and Subcontract. Forecasting and performance tracking both Client and Subcontractors. Project risk management, reviewing day-to-day project risks. Site visits for monthly AFP, sub-contract assessments Create and manage cost to completes to ensure the business is aware of the project position. Deliver accurate and timely budget, cost, and change reporting. Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation and generate Earned Value Analysis reports, whilst maintaining robust commercial documentation

Qualifications
BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial field. Professional membership status desirable (RICS, ICES) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines. Excellent diligence and organizational skills Effective communication and people skills Enthusiasm, commitment, and flexibility Willingness to take responsibility for own development and extend knowledge of software packages. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Previous experience in the water industry Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.
