Quantity Surveyor
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary Range: £Up to £70,000 + Excellent Benefits
Location: Reading or Glasgow
Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working: Hybrid
Hours of Work: Full Time
Role Information:
We are recruiting for Quantity Surveyors to join a leading organisation delivering major infrastructure and nuclear projects across the UK. Working within a highly experienced commercial team, you will play a key role in managing project costs, supporting commercial performance, and ensuring successful project delivery across multi-disciplinary design and construction programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing cost planning, budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Preparing, negotiating and administering contracts, subcontracts and variations.
- Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Building strong working relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, industry regulations and company standards.
- Supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and nuclear projects.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, infrastructure or nuclear projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods and commercial management.
- Experience managing project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Experience using commercial and project management software is advantageous.
- UK National Security Vetting Status – Ability to gain SC Clearance
