Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure / Civils
We are working with a leading multidisciplinary contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work on long-term, high-value projects across infrastructure and civil engineering sectors.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Full commercial management of allocated projects
- Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations
- Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity
- Supporting contract administration and change control
- Producing accurate commercial reports for senior management
- Working closely with project and site teams to ensure financial control

About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have a strong background in construction or infrastructure projects and a proactive, detail-focused approach.
You Will Ideally Have
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Strong knowledge of NEC and/or other standard forms of contract
- Good commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Proficiency in commercial and reporting systems
