Quantity Surveyor Construction

Job Title: Fire & Security Quantity Surveyor

Location: UB5 5QQ

Salary: Up to £70,000 pa DOE, £500pm car allowance, up to 10K pa bonuses

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a Background in Fire & Security or MEP and are looking for your next challenge? Are you a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced live environment, knows your way around high-value residential construction, and are ready to make a real impact?

Due to continued project wins across London, we are looking to appoint immediately. Interviews taking place this week.

Role duties and responsibilities for a Fire & Security Quantity Surveyor

  • Deliver a diverse range of Fire & Security / ELV services across high-rise new build projects and occupied residential developments
  • Exposure to high-rise residential projects and occupied housing environments
  • Opportunity to lead and take ownership of complex projects from pre-start to final account
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and full commercial lifecycle: valuations, variations, payment applications, final accounts, notices, and contractual correspondence and compliance
  • Able to independently manage cost control, P&L reporting, cash flow forecasting, and commercial administration
  • Experience coordinating procurement and overseeing subcontractor and supply chain performance
  • A solid understanding of health & safety, CDM regulations, and project compliance requirements
  • Adhoc duties as required

Qualifications & Experience Required for a Fire & Security Quantity Surveyor:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Fire & Security, Electrical, or MEP sectors
  • A solid understanding of JCT contracts
  • Previously lead complex projects from pre-start to final account
  • A solid understanding of H & S, CDM regulations and project compliance requirements
  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and familiar with project/CRM platforms
