The Opportunity
Working alongside some of the industry's leading dispute resolution specialists, you'll gain exposure to high-profile projects, develop specialist expertise, and play an active role in helping clients avoid and resolve complex commercial disputes.
You'll support a diverse portfolio of complex construction, engineering, infrastructure, and energy projects, providing commercial and contractual advice from project inception through to formal dispute resolution.
This role offers genuine long-term career progression, structured professional development, and the opportunity to develop into a recognised expert within construction dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on commercial, contractual, and strategic matters throughout all stages of the construction project lifecycle
- Analyse tender, contract, and claims documentation to identify commercial risks and support dispute resolution strategies
- Prepare claims for loss and expense, and adjudication documentation
- Draft reports that clearly set out processes, conclusions, and recommendations
- Support dispute resolution processes including adjudication, arbitration, and litigation support activities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through the delivery of high-quality consultancy services

About You:
This opportunity would suit a Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager, or Construction Claims professional looking to specialise further within dispute resolution, or an existing Consultant seeking broader project exposure.
Our ideal candidate will have experience within the construction or engineering sector, together with a strong understanding of construction law, commercial management, or dispute resolution. You will ideally be RICS qualified and commercially aware, analytical, and motivated to continue developing your expertise within a specialist consultancy.
We would love to speak with candidates with the following:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Law, or similar
- 3+ years’ post-degree experience in quantity surveying, construction dispute resolution, or similar
- Experience in construction disputes, claims, construction law, or commercial management
- Knowledge of JCT, NEC, and/or FIDIC contracts
- Experience preparing and assessing construction costs, claims, and adjudication documentation
- RICS qualified or working towards chartership
- Proven track record of building and managing client relationships

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- MSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Law or similar
- Experience in preparing Expert Witness Reports.
