Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks
Our client is currently seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team within the groundworks sector. The successful candidate will support the commercial management of projects, working closely with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost management and commercial control of groundworks projects
- Prepare valuations, cost reports, and variations
- Measure works completed and assess subcontractor payments
- Support tendering and pricing activities
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure
- Liaise with site managers, clients, and suppliers
- Assist with contract administration and monthly reporting

Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor (groundworks/civils experience preferred)
- Good understanding of construction processes and commercial principles
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QS software packages
