Experienced Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
Type: Full Time
Location: London, UK (South East)
About the Role
A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team based in South East London.
The Quantity Surveyor will work mainly on social housing projects alongside some education sector initiatives, overseeing projects from concept to completion. This role also involves developing new business relationships—majoring in client-facing engagement—while occasionally supporting the Building Surveying team.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-life projects from conception to delivery
- Play a key role in securing new business opportunities
- Act as a client-facing advocate, building strong professional relationships
- Provide cost management, risk assessment and contract administration (pre- and post-contract)
- Occasionally support Building Surveying team tasks

Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- RICS accreditation (or working towards MRICS)
- Strong preference for candidates with:
- Experience within commercial construction projects
- Background in private practice or consultancy
- Pre-contract and post-contract knowledge
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
