Quantity Surveyor
About the Role
Our client, a reputable main contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a residential project in Stockport. They primarily work on housing and apartment builds, including new builds and refurbishments. Due to their sustained growth, this is a highly exciting time for them to take on new talent.

Ideal Candidate
- Background working on residential projects would be advantageous
- Previous experience commercially leading a project
- Experience as a main contractor
- Solid understanding of JCT Contract

Key Responsibilities
- Leading a project through to completion
- CVR reporting to directors
- Agreeing main contract sums
- Managing variations and claims
- Managing cash flow
- Procuring materials and subcontractors
- Attending project progress meetings
- Managing subcontractor payments, variations and producing cost reports
