Quantity Surveyor
MEP Quantity Surveyor Hospital Project
Hybrid Working | 34 Days On Site | Immediate Start
Permanent: £55,000 - £65,000 + Package
We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a major hospital project on an immediate basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile healthcare development, supporting the commercial delivery of complex mechanical and electrical packages from procurement through to final account.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 34 days per week on site and is open to both permanent and contract candidates.
You will be responsible for the commercial management of MEP works, ensuring projects are delivered on budget while maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of Mechanical & Electrical packages
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
- Management of subcontractor accounts and valuations
- Preparation and assessment of variations and change control
- Procurement and contract administration
- Management of payment applications and final accounts
- Risk and opportunity management
- Supporting project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and project requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor
- Strong NEC Contract experience (Option C essential)
- Previous healthcare or hospital project experience preferred
- Experience working on Mechanical and Electrical packages
- Knowledge of Procure 21 and Procure 23 frameworks would be highly advantageous
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a project team
- Must be able to commute daily to site
