Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

£65,000 - £75,000 + Company Benefits + Company Bonus + Development + Progression + Car Allowance + Early finish on a Friday

Are you an Quantity Surveyor from an MEP background looking to take ownership of the commercial delivery of multimillion-pound projects within a growing company, where you'll receive ongoing training, progress into management and benefits from a bonus structure?

This building services company has seen continued success and rapid growth since its establishment in 1963. Specialising in complex MEP engineering projects across the Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Heritage, Hospitality and Residential sectors, the business employs over 400 direct staff and subcontractors across offices in Northern Ireland and Ireland, generating a turnover of £20 million. Having built a strong reputation delivering high-profile projects throughout the UK and Ireland, they are now continuing their expansion across the UK.

In this role, you will manage the commercial delivery of MEP projects from contract award through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. You will value completed works and variations, produce cost reports and forecasts, manage subcontractor procurement and payments, carry out site measurements, and work closely with clients, suppliers and project teams to maximise the commercial performance of multimillion-pound Building Services projects across a range of sectors.

This role would suit an MEP Quantity Surveyor looking to manage the commercial delivery of multimillion-pound Building Services projects while progressing into management within a growing company that invests in your development.

The Role

  • Manage the commercial delivery of Mechanical and Electrical projects from contract award through to final account
  • Carry out valuations, measure completed works and assess variations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Produce cost reports, forecasts and cost value reconciliations to monitor project performance
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and commercial relationships
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams to maximise project profitability
  • Support the successful delivery of multimillion-pound Building Services projects across a range of sectors

  • Experience managing the commercial delivery of MEP projects

  • Based in or commutable to Manchester and willing to travel to sites
