Quantity Surveyor – Cost Management Team Opportunity
We are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join our clients’ Cost Management team, contributing to the continued growth of our business and supporting the delivery of large-scale projects across a variety of sectors, including:
- Residential
- Commercial
- Retail
- Healthcare
- Industrial
- Regeneration
About the Client
Our client is a leading Construction Consultancy, offering:
- Project management
- Cost and commercial management
- Advisory services
There is scope to progress into wider roles and other industry sectors.
Role Overview
You will work across multiple client projects, delivering best-in-class cost management and ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with both project and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders involved in projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Contract Administration
- Manage and administer various contracts, ensuring adherence to project objectives, governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Implement contract change management processes effectively to keep projects on track.

Cost Management
- Monitor, forecast, and report project costs accurately to completion, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- Proactively identify and manage cost variances while maintaining contract cash flow integrity.
- Prepare and submit applications and valuations in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Must-have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager in a Construction Consultancy.
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering).
- Must have full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
