Quantity Surveyor
Interim Quantity Surveyor - CR/007288
Location: Remote Contract: Initial 3 Months (Likely Extension) Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Quantity Surveyor to join a leading organisation within the utilities and infrastructure sector on an initial three-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy commercial team, supporting a significant portfolio of projects. Although the initial assignment is for three months, there is a strong likelihood of extension due to the volume of ongoing work and future project demand.
The Role
As an Interim Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring robust cost management and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects
- Administering contracts and ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs, budgets, and forecasts
- Supporting change management and risk mitigation
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
- Producing accurate commercial reports and cost analysis
About You
We're looking for candidates who demonstrate:

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, construction, or major capital projects
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience managing project costs and commercial reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
