We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our East Hyde STW team based in East Hyde, Luton - Bedfordshire

Hours
45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take full commercial accountability for a defined section of the East Hyde STW Growth project. The project has recently progressed from the Early Contractor Involvement stage and is moving through outline design into detailed design. You'll have the chance to influence commercial outcomes as scope develops, ensuring robust cost and risk management from the early stages of delivery. This role is perfect if you're looking to broaden your experience and take ownership across the full project lifecycle in preparation for progression into senior commercial positions.
Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial Team, supporting them in delivering complex, multi-discipline projects. Your day-to-day will include:

- Taking full commercial responsibility for a defined section of the works, from procurement through to final account
- Leading procurement activities including tendering, evaluation, and subcontract award
- Administering subcontract accounts, including valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Contributing to commercial reporting processes including cashflow forecasting, Cost Value Reconciliations, and Quarterly Forecasting
- Working collaboratively with delivery teams to manage interfaces across multiple disciplines
Requirements
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- You hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree, or equivalent
- You hold a Full driving licence
- You have prior experience working in a commercial role for a contractor
- You have experience with a variety of contract forms
- You have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
