What You'll Be Doing
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of the commercial management of key contracts and projects, ensuring value is maximised while risks are effectively managed.
You'll be:
- Managing the commercial performance of major works contracts
- Driving contract compliance and contractor performance
- Leading on change management, cost forecasting and financial reporting
- Managing payments, cost audits and final account agreements
- Supporting the resolution of claims, disputes and commercial challenges
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and delivery partners
- Providing expert commercial advice and influencing business decisions
- Identifying opportunities to improve value, performance and outcomes across projects
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from experienced Quantity Surveyors who thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy influencing project success from start to finish.
You'll ideally have:
- A Quantity Surveying degree (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, ideally including NEC contracts
- Experience managing the commercial function across construction or infrastructure projects
- Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting and contract administration
- A full UK driving licence
