About Anyon Systems
Anyon Systems is a Canadian quantum computing company based in Montréal, QC, focused on building next-generation quantum processors and full-stack quantum computing systems. We operate at the frontier of physics and engineering, where hardware, software, cryogenics, control systems, and advanced computing infrastructure converge to enable real-world quantum applications. As we continue to expand our quantum computing capabilities, we are growing our engineering team to support the design and deployment of highly integrated quantum computing platforms.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quantum Hardware Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and validation of superconducting quantum processors. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop next-generation quantum hardware and contribute to the advancement of scalable quantum computing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Hardware Development
- Support QPU design and development activities.
- Participate in hardware integration and packaging efforts.
- Perform testing, characterization, and validation of hardware systems.
- Analyze performance data and support continuous improvement initiatives.
System Integration
- Collaborate with cryogenic, electronics, firmware, and software teams.
- Support laboratory testing and system bring-up activities.

Documentation
- Maintain engineering records and technical documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and technical assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with superconducting circuits, microelectronics, or advanced scientific hardware.
- Strong laboratory and troubleshooting skills.
