An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quarry Section Manager to join a well-established industrial business operating within a safety-critical environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead day-to-day site operations, manage a skilled team and drive safety, performance and continuous improvement across the site.
The Role
- Lead and develop the operational team.
- Drive a strong health, safety and compliance culture.
- Ensure production targets and customer requirements are achieved.
- Improve operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, KPIs and operational performance.
- Work closely with engineering to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

About You
You'll have experience managing operations within a manufacturing, process, heavy industrial or materials handling environment, along with:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge.
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH, SAP (or similar ERP), and continuous improvement experience.
