As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. And by transporting medicines, toys and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods, you are making small and big moments possible for people all around the world. How you create impact

  • Provide pricing support for the following teams: Customer Service, CRMs, Sales, Revenue Care and Management by processing quote requests, tariff creation or revision requests in a timely manner, according to agreed targets and / or requested deadlines, using agreed pricing models.
  • Collaborate with sales team in order to create pricing strategy that aligns with business goals and market conditions.
  • Gather costs as required and analyse margin.
  • Manage bids as requested by Sales.
  • Liaise with other departments as required to complete pricing (e.g. Network, Inventory, Product Manager).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with pricing team in the US regarding global accounts to ensure consistency and provide assistance as required.
  • Maintain efficient filing system for all client rates (quotes, tariffs, project quotes and billing files) and any supporting documentation.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the QuickSTAT Global Head of Proposal Management or other Senior Management.

What we would like you to bring

  • Industry knowledge including import, export, domestic moves, via various modes of transport.
  • Excellent understanding of world geography.
  • Understanding of temperature controlled packaging solutions available on the open market.
  • Knowledge of cost structures and understanding profit margin.
  • Strong computer skills (especially Excel), analytical and problem solving skills (navigating pricing challenges with creative data-driven solutions) and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex pricing strategies in a clear manner and collaborate with other departments, as well as teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability to quickly changing conditions or internal priorities and self motivation.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work to strict deadline as well as good planning and organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
