Energy & Power Account Handler/Client Advisor – London (Hybrid)
The Energy & Power practice within Marsh’s Risk team in London is seeking a talented, organised, and client-focused professional to join as an Account Handler or Client Advisor.
About the Role
- Position title: Account Handler/Client Advisor (Energy & Power)
- Location: London (-office based)
- Working model: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days in the office per week)
- Ideal candidate: Experience in Energy & Power insurance, strong client relationship management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
You will oversee an individual client portfolio, ensuring seamless delivery of insurance services, including:
- Managing insurance renewals, coordinating with brokers and insurers
- Processing mid-term risk adjustments and underwriting information liaison
- Supporting client documentation preparations and renewal strategies
- Resolving client queries promptly, maintaining high service standards
- Collaborating with Client Executives and Placement Teams on:
- Renewal presentations, negotiations and submissions
- Client reporting and monitoring of coverage terms
- Review of indemnity clauses and insurer documentation

Core Requirements
- Proven experience in Energy & Power insurance, including full-cycle renewal procedures
- Exceptional organisational skills, adept at handling concurrent enquiries
- Deep industry insight covering clients’ operational challenges, insurance needs and policies
Key Strengths
- Dynamic personality with prior client-facing experience
- Pressure-resistant, capable of flexible adaptability
- CII qualification (* Certificate level preferred; working towards ACII is a plus*)
