This is a Work-Study position.
Position Summary
The Journalism and Media Communication department is looking for students to work in our Equipment Room. The Equipment Room manages an array of production gear, including professional quality audio, video, and lighting equipment for JMC students to complete coursework.

Required Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a detailed environment and follow direction
- Ability to learn and use new inventory as it comes in
- Ability to work in a shared workspace and communicate well
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative to help workspace
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Experience in the operation of video cameras
- Experience with lighting/audio equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining camera, audio, and light gear

Essential Duties
- Tracking and organizing inventory
- Checking equipment in and out
- Helping students and faculty use our equipment
- Taking initiative and maintaining a clean workspace
- Other duties as assigned
