The Program Assistant and Receptionist will help other staff complete administrative and program operations, including staffing the front reception area, assisting in equine-assisted services appointments, and assisting with equine care and facility cleaning.

Preferred Job Qualifications
- Previous horse experience including, but not limited to, grooming, tacking, leading, and general horsemanship.
Essential Duties
- Greeting all visitors and answering phones.
- Administrative tasks, including, but not limited to scheduling meetings, visits, client appointments, or other activities or events seeking to use building facilities, collect and/or mail packages, and creating signage, documents, or other written materials.
- Customer service, including, but not limited to hosting tours, answering questions about services and programs, handling intake of complaints and queries.
- Maintaining the front desk and other facility areas, including cleaning and organizing.
- Security tasks such as monitoring all guests inside building and contacting appropriate authorities in case of a security or medical emergency.
- Event planning assistance such as setting up, participating in, and tearing down events.
- Assist in equine-assisted service appointments, including acting as a side-walker or horse leader.
- Assist in equine care and facilities cleaning.
- Assist in grooming horses and/or preparing them for appointments
