Radar Developer - Pricing Implementation Team

We are excited to share a new career opportunity within our Pricing Implementation Team, a role critical in translating strategic pricing decisions into operational reality.

Location: Liverpool City Centre, hybrid working available Salary: £Competitive (depending on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)


About the Role

The Radar Developer will implement pricing structures and models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely deployment. This role involves building, maintaining, and testing complex rating systems to support new and updated pricing initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Implementing pricing structures and models
  • Guiding the approach for pricing builds and implementation
  • Building, updating, and reviewing XML outputs within rating models
  • Conducting thorough testing before deploying changes
  • Identifying conflicts in pricing structures that could disrupt implementation
  • Monitoring practical implications of pricing changes
  • Proactively identifying improvements to pricing structures
  • Conducting peer reviews of team members' work to maintain accuracy
  • Maintaining documentation and audit trails of deployed changes
  • Aligning implementation schedules with agreed prioritisation criteria
  • Collaborating with team members to refine and enhance the system

Requirements

  • Experienced user of Radar and Radar Live
  • Industry experience in insurance, with an understanding of complex rating structures
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Clear verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills to analyse challenges and develop structured solutions
  • Proactive mindset, eager to offer innovative solutions
