Radiographer – Kings Oak Hospital
37.5 Hours & Permanent | Salary: Up to £33,000.00 per year
Kings Oak Hospital & Cavell Hospitals in Enfield are part of Circle Health Group, Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare. With a nationwide network of hospitals and performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country, we offer an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join our team in the Imaging department.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week) with flexible shift patterns.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e.g., general X-rays, theatre imaging, fluoroscopy, mobile imaging) while adhering to referral and imaging protocols.
- Ensure high-quality images are produced to facilitate accurate diagnosis, effectively reducing the need for repeat exposures.
- Adapt techniques to accommodate diverse patient needs, including paediatric, bariatric, and patients with limited mobility.
- Provide a safe, dignified, and person-centered service, ensuring patients are informed, comfortable, and reassured throughout examinations.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any deterioration.
- Maintain equipment safety and functionality, conducting checks, repairs, and promptly reporting faults.
- Assist in implementing and utilising new imaging technologies, techniques, and digital systems (e.g., PACS, RIS).
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to ensure efficient care coordination and seamless patient pathways.

Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
- Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
- Strong understanding of:
- IR(ME)R (Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations)
- Health & Safety
- Infection control
- Patient confidentiality requirements
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Postgraduate experience or specialist training (e.g., CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography) is desirable but not mandatory.
