Radiographers – Permanent Role

Acute Trust NHS – Billingham Diabetes & Towers Hospital (DBTH)


About the Role

We are seeking to recruit either qualified or newly qualified Radiographers to fill a permanent position with flexible working hours across multiple hospital sites.

As part of a vibrant, dynamic team in the Radiology Department, you will contribute to a progressive and forward-thinking service—helping to shape and deliver imaging within A&E, inpatient, outpatient, theatre, and mobile Imaging.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 13th July 2026.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in a range of Imaging tasks across X-Ray departments on multiple hospital sites.
  • Perform a variety of examinations, including:
    • General radiography
    • Fluoroscopy
    • Theatre radiography
    • Dental radiography
    • Mobile imaging
  • Contribute to departmental technique protocols and service objectives of the Medical Imaging Department.
  • Adhere to a seven-day service delivery, working evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Deliver a high-quality service to referrers and their clients.

Requirements

  • Motivated newly qualified or experienced Radiographers, eager to expand skills in busy, patient-centric Imaging Departments.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and capable of working both autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Essential skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
    • Ability to work under pressure in diverse clinical settings
    • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and career progression
    • Ability to meet ** precipitated demand** (evenings, nights, weekends)
