Role Overview
To provide a comprehensive appointment and reception service for Imaging examinations for all wards and departments at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, GP’s and all other users of the service. Ensure waiting list targets are met highlighting progress and any anticipated problems associated with meeting the targets.
About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to join our busy, demanding clerical team working in the Imaging Department.
Key Requirements
- Motivated, enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Essential: Maintenance of patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills
- Proven record of working within a clerical environment
- First line administrative responsibilities
- Excellent IT skills
- Advantage: Knowledge of the Radiology Department and Radiology Information Systems
- Useful: Previous NHS experience
- Training on specific hospital systems will be given

About the Trust
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty-five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.
