About the Role

Radiology is a milestone in the patient pathway and, as technologies continue to improve and demand increases, the Trust's Radiology department is becoming one of the busiest areas of the hospital to work.

Join us as a Clerical Officer and you could soon be part of a dedicated Reception Team working at Conquest Hospital and Bexhill Community Diagnostic Centre where the reception role underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care making a positive difference to the patient experience.

Hours and Shifts

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Covering shifts of 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm and 12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday
  • All shifts on a rota basis covering the Conquest Hospital and Bexhill Community Diagnostic Centre

Role Responsibilities

The successful Clerical Officer will provide a professional, comprehensive and efficient reception service, which is effectively delivered to all patients and members of the department; as well as working as part of an experienced team of Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, Nurses and RDAs.

Requirements

We require someone who has excellent organisational and Interpersonal skills and who can continuously improve themselves and help others to do so within our department. The successful candidate will be a key part of the reception team and will:

  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be caring and empathetic to patient needs
  • Embody the Trust Values

Previous Experience Required:

  • Significant previous receptionist or admin and clerical experience in a Radiology or busy office environment
  • Multi-skilled to manage a range of procedures using high levels of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to acquire knowledge and undertake department training as required
