About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Radiology Assistants to work within all modalities of Radiology assisting Radiographers, Nurses and Radiologists in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures and provide support to all health care professionals within the multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures.
- Undertaking clinical procedures under supervision; contributing to patient care and safety whilst in the department.
- A key element of the role is to provide care and assistance to ensure effective work flow.
- Contribute to a positive patient / service user experience within the radiology department.
- Work to eliminate avoidable infection by working according to Infection control policies.
- Ensuring at all times to maintain the patients Privacy, Dignity and Confidentiality.
- Acting as a support to colleagues, patients and their relatives in a busy department, whilst managing demands on your time and contributing towards an environment of cohesive and effective team work.

Requirements
- Applicants must have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.
- This post will include shifts between the hours of 8am – 8pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
- PLEASE NOTE - WE CANNOT OFFER VISA SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE. If you hold a Graduate/Post Study work visa, you will only be able to work this role fixed term until the expiry date of your visa.
