Job Opportunity: Radiopharmacy Production Worker
We are looking for an experienced radiopharmacy or similarly experienced production worker to join our small team of staff in our York Hospital based Radiopharmacy unit.
Following a review of the radiopharmacy service we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with an interest in this specialist area. This new role will involve working with the Nuclear Medicine Technologists to prepare a range of radiopharmaceuticals, prepare the radiopharmacy isolator ready for use, oversee and participate in validations and maintain the necessary aseptic environment.
Role Details
York Radiopharmacy is a section 10 unit producing radiopharmaceuticals used to diagnose a range of conditions. Working under the supervision of an Authorised Pharmacist, you will prepare, dispense and label radiopharmaceuticals using aseptic technique in a Grade A cleanroom environment. You will also be expected to carry out environmental monitoring, validation and cleaning of the cleanroom suite and equipment. Manage stock and starting materials, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation. Record monitoring data accurately and support the quality management system.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role it is essential that you have at least 3 years experience working in an aseptic manufacturing environment such as a section 10 aseptic unit, licensed or specials manufacturing. A level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician or Pharmacy Technician qualification would be desirable.
