We have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Treatment Team Leader to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

At The Harley Street Clinic, we provide a range of complex care services, specialising in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience. From open heart surgery to pioneering techniques to treat cancer, our clinicians work together to provide the best possible care and treatments for our patients. Our staff always go the extra mile in caring for our patients which can be demonstrated by our recent outstanding rating awarded by the CQC.

The post holder will support the Pre-Treatment Superintendent Radiographer in the day-to-day leadership of the pre-treatment service, providing clinical and technical expertise to ensure the safe, accurate and efficient delivery of CT simulation, treatment planning preparation and associated radiotherapy planning pathways. They will promote patient centred care offering an excellent patient experience, whilst ensuring imaging protocols and simulatoin techniques are delivered to agreed standards. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, they will supervise Senior Radiographers, support service development, maintain quality assurance standards, and contribute to the pre-treatment planning of complex radiotherapy techniques, including SABR, whilst ensuring compliance with departmental policies and IR(ME)R regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Radiographer with a strong background in radiotherapy pre-treatment who is looking to further develop their leadership skills. Ideal candidates will have experience supervising colleagues within a busy clinical environment and will bring confidence in CT simulation and treatment preparation, with experience of Siemens CT scanners and ARIA Oncology Information System being advantageous.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
