Senior Finance Analyst – Wholesale (Fixed Term 18 Months)

Position Overview
This is an 18-month Fixed Term Contract position with a focus on strategic financial analysis to support key decision-making at Ralph Lauren. The Senior Finance Analyst will:
- Provide reliable, accurate, and timely management information
- Oversee month-end close processes, budgeting, and forecasting
- Act as a financial partner to both the Finance team and business leaders
- Drive insightful analysis to inform financial and operational strategies

This role is an ideal opportunity to develop deep financial expertise, gain cross-functional exposure, and impact the company’s wholesale business within the broader Ralph Lauren Corporation.
Working arrangement: Hybrid model with:
- A minimum of two days per week in the Watford office
- (June – December 2026) temporary relocation to London office (with two days in London, rest hybrid)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Business Finance Support
- Serve as the primary finance contact for staff-related and other key business expenses, strengthening collaborations with EMEA stakeholders.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Assist in creating annual budgets, long-range plans, and on-going forecasts
- Collaborate with regional teams to refine inputs, challenge projections, and elevate forecast accuracy—special focus on employee costs and SG&A expenses
- Translate business initiatives into measurable financial outcomes aligned with corporate goals
Monthly Business Review & Closure
- Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Provide detailed commentary on performance and identify risks, opportunities, and operational insights
- Communicate findings to Finance leadership and regional teams
Financial Stewardship
- Act as a gatekeeper for approvals related to:
- New role creation
- Promotions
- Contractual changes
- Own financial model development and uphold budgetary controls aligned with business needs

Financial Analysis & Strategic Insights
- Support ad-hoc initiatives with data-driven analytical insights for Finance and regional leadership
Process Improvement
- Champion continuous improvements in resource allocation, process optimisation, and analysis rigor
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Qualifications & Professional Background
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional finance qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountancy certifications)
Technical and Functional Skills
- FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) or related finance experience
Expertise
- Analytical excellence: Strong ability to assess and interpret financial data with exceptional attention to detail
Soft Skills & Mindset
- Clarity & storytelling: Can present complex information clearly for both finance and non-finance audiences
- Collaboration & relationship-building: Adaptable, team-oriented, and capable of bridging business units seamlessly
- Initiative & curiosity: Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and eager to solve problems with innovative solutions
