The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following functions:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Direct the Ramp team while adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
  • Standards: Uphold PrimeFlight’s standards in the handling of all deadload and serve as the designated turnaround coordinator.
  • Equipment Operation: Expertly operate specialised equipment and vehicles, including push back, loaders, steps, and headsets.
  • Load Management: Ensure the load aligns perfectly with the load plan. Accurately report any alterations and diligently address discrepancies.
  • Safety Awareness: Be well-versed in rules concerning the transport of dangerous goods, and act responsibly during incidents of spillage or damage. Familiarity with accident and emergency protocols is essential.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all necessary equipment is available on stand and is fully operational, equipment is checked daily and fuelled when necessary.
  • Task Proficiency: Regularly perform a range of tasks – from baggage makeup and transport to load reconciliation – within the designated area, ensuring continuous skill development.
  • Additional Tasks: Fulfil any other tasks or responsibilities as directed by manager. Step up to Team Leader or Senior Team Leader if required.
